ORIENTATION GUIDE
The venue for the FUTURE MUSEUM meeting in Bilbao is the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao located in the city centre. There are three entrances, one at the main facade (access by elevator), one at the riverside facade (ramp access) and one at the entrance down the broad stairway on the main facade.
YOUR ARRIVAL
FROM THE AIRPORT
Bilbao International Airport (LOIU) is located 15 km from the city centre and provides a bus and taxi service from the airport.
The Bizkaibus line A3247 runs from Bilbao airport to the city centre every 15 minutes between 5:15 and 21:45 depending on traffic conditions. The airport bus stops multiple times along the way, the closest stop to the Guggenheim Museum and the hotel is “Alameda Recalde 11”. There are two bus stops for the Bizkaibus line A3247 at Bilbao airport; the first one can be found outside the arrivals terminal on level 1 and the second is located outside the departures terminal on level 3.
