YOUR ARRIVAL
The venues for the FUTURE MUSEUM meeting in Vienna are in the heart of the city centre and well connected to the Viennese subway system and other public transport. Seestadt is located outside the city centre, but has a very good connection with its own subway station.
FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTRE
There are several ways to get to the city centre from the airport. You can take the S7 in direction Laa/Thaya, S2 in direction Wolkersdorf, several regional trains in direction Wien Floridsdorf Bahnhof to Praterstern or take the CAT (City Airport Train) to Wien Mitte, where you can change to the subway.
FROM THE VIENNA CENTRAL TRAIN STATION TO THE CITY CENTRE
The Vienna Central Train Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) is connected to the subway lines U1 and U2, which will take you to the city centre.
BY CAR
The 25hours hotel offers underground parking for 29€ per day. The closest park garages next to the WMF are CONTIPARK Tiefgarage Am MuseumsQuartier (14€ per day), BOE PARKING Schmerlingplatz (40€ per day) and APCOA Tiefgarage Lerchenfelderstraße (45€ per day).

The Weltmuseum Forum is located in the Hofburg at Heldenplatz. Its entrance is left to the main entrance to Weltmuseum, it is the same entrance as for the Imperial Shop Vienna.
HOW TO GET TO SEESTADT
Location: Seestadt, Wien 3420 Aspern Development, Seestadtstraße 27, Vienna
Meeting point: U2 Station Seestadt, exit „Seestadtstraße“, Wangari Maathai Platz, in front of bakery STRÖCK
Subway
U2: Station Seestadt
Seestadt is connected to the subway line U2 (purple line). Take the subway in direction Seestadt and get off at the last station (Seestadt). The meeting point is right outside the subway station. If you depart from the 25hours Hotel, take the tram U2Z from station Ring/Volkstheater and get off at station Schottentor. From there you can take the subway line U2.

HOW TO GET TO KUNSTHISTORISCHES MUSEUM
Location: Kunsthistorisches Museum, Maria-Theresien-Platz, Vienna
From the Weltmuseum it is only a 5 minutes walk to the Kunsthistorisches Museum. It is right across the Ringstraße next to the Weltmuseum.

HOW TO GET TO THE ARS ELECTRONICA CENTER
Location: Ars Electronica Center, Ars-Electronica-Straße 1, Linz
BY TRAIN
The best way to travel from Vienna to Linz is by train. Daily connections every 30 minutes are offered by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) or the open access railway company Westbahn. You can get on the train at the following train stations: Wien Hauptbahnhof, Wien Meidling, Wien Praterstern, Wien Westbahnhof or Wien Mitte.

From the railway station Linz Hauptbahnhof you can take any tram (1,2,3,4) direction city centre and get off at station “Rudolfstraße”.
BY CAR
Right next to the Ars Electronica Center are over 100 parking lots. A 6 hours ticket is 5€.
HOW TO GET TO OFFENES KULTURHAUS LINZ
Location: OK-Platz 1, 4020 Linz
From the Ars Electronica Center you can take any tram (1,2,3,4) and get off at station Taubenmarkt which is closest to the Offenes Kulturhaus.

HOW TO GET TO OPENING OF THE ARS ELECTRONICA FESTIVAL AT JOHANNES KEPLER UNIVERSITY
Location: Campus of the Johannes Kepler University (inner courtyard Schloss Auhof), Altenbergerstraße 69, 4040 Linz
You can reach the University Campus taking the tram line 1 direction “Universität” which is the last station and where you have to get off. There are also several parkings around the campus.
