HOW TO GET TO SWISS NATIONAL MUSEUM

Location: Swiss National Museum, Museumsstraße 2, Zurich

The venue for the FUTURE MUSEUM meeting in Zurich is Swiss National Museum, which is in the heart of the city centre and well connected to the public transport system due to its location next to the Zurich Main Station.

FROM THE AIRPORT

Zurich Airport is just 10km from the city center, so it is quick and easy to get there after your plane has landed by train/S-Bahn, tram or taxi.

– Trains run daily from Zurich Airport to Zurich Main Station every 5-10 minutes between 5am and midnight.

– The S-Bahn lines S2 and S16 transport travellers to Zurich Main Station in just 10 minutes.

– The tram line 10 from the airport to the Main Station takes approximatel 35 minutes.

– Taxi ranks are located in the front of Arrivals 1 and 2.

FROM ZURICH MAIN STATION

The Zurich Main Station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof) is just right next to the Swiss National Museum (walking distance).

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

To get to the Swiss National Museum you can take the tram lines 4,6,11,13,14 or 46 and get off at stop “Bahnhofquai/HB” or take the bus line 3,10, 14 or 31 and get off at stop “Bahnhofplatz”. The walking distance from 25hours hotel to Swiss National Museum is 15 minutes (1,2km).

BY CAR

Parking: Hauptbahnhof (Sihlquai 41), Central (Seilergraben), Urania (Uraniastrasse 3).

HOW TO GET TO 25HOURS HOTEL

Location: Langstraße 150, Zurich

There is a limited number of parking spaces available at the hotel (CHF 35 per day). The entrance to the underground car park is located at Tellstrasse 43 (address for GPS: Lagerstrasse 96). Alternative parking is available at the City Parkhaus Gessnerallee, CHF 35 per day (24 hours), open 24 hours. At Zurich Main Station take the escalator in Sector D and follow the signs for Europaallee. The hotel is located within walking distance.

HOW TO GET TO MIGROS MUSEUM FÜR GEGENWARTSKUNST

Location: Limmatstraße 270, Zurich

From Swiss National Museum it is a 20 minutes walk (1,7km) to Migros Museum. You can also take the tram lines 4, 13 or 27 and get off at stop “Löwenbräu”. Car parking spaces in the courtyard are available for 5 CHF/hour (entry via Gerstenstrasse).

HOW TO GET TO RESTAURANT MARKTHALLE

Location: Limmatstraße 231, Zurich

The restaurant is located at a walking distance from the Migros Museum and can also be reached by taking the tram line 4,13 or 17 and getting off at stop “Löwenbräu”.

HOW TO GET TO THE KUNSTHAUS ZURICH

Location: Heimplatz 1, Zurich

Kunsthaus Zurich can be easily reached by tram line 3, 5 or 9, stop “Kunsthaus”. The nearest car parking is Hohe Promenade, Rämistrasse 22A.

HOW TO GET TO RESTAURANT FLORHOF

Location: Florhofgasse 4, Zurich

The restaurant is located at a walking distance from the Kunsthaus Zurich and can also be reached by taking tram line 5,8 or 9 getting off at stop “Kantonschule”.
